Mark your calendars!!
This year the Wisconsin Endurance Mountain Bike Series race at Greenbush (Northern Kettles) will be held on Saturday, May 12th, 2012. The race will follow the off-road trail system, incorporating loops 1-4, approximately 10 miles.
At this point it is very likely we will convert to a mileage based format vs the time based format we've gone with in the past. We hope to make that final decision over the next few weeks.
In the mean time, event registration forms are available on the WEMS web page www.wemseries.com. Please e-mail any inquiries to Brittany at Brittany@BrittanyNigh.com.
Stay tuned for more updates.

12 Hours of Norhern Kettles is just around the corner!
Saturday, May 28th - Mark your calendars.
We will be sticking with the traditional time based format which will include a 12 hour race (solo or team), a 6 hour race (solo or duo) and a 3 hour race (solo only).
We will be using all 4 laps at Greenbush, including loop 4 which our G.E.A.R.S (Glacial Edge Area Riding Society) volunteers spent hours helping finish.
Race times will be as follows:
12 hour starts at 8:00am
6 hour starts at 1:00pm
3 hour starts at 3:00pm
Registration opens 2 hours prior to each event.
Race directors will have a group campsite available for camping Friday and/or Saturday nights. Please inquire at the registration desk.
Please remember this race is on state land so a State parking sticker AND trail pass are REQUIRED. These items will be available for purchase the day of the race at registration. Rangers will check vehicles throughout the day and registration will ask to see your trail pass if you have one. Please help us stay on the state's good side.
Any questions or concerns about the race can be directed to the race director at Brittany@BrittanyNigh.com.
We will have our benefit raffle again and the only way you can gain entry to the raffle is to purchase tickets.
And of course race director Brittany Nigh will once again be serving up the "famous" chicken chili after each of the events.
So come out and race with us, ride with us, or just visit with us. It's sure to be a great time!

Updates for the race weekend
Looking to see how the course will be laid out for this weekend's race? Check it out here: Greenbush Trail System Map
We'll be doing loops 1, 2, 3 and 4 in order. Laps will be just a hair over 9 miles. Remember we are TIME based this year, not mileage based.
There are still tent spots left on the group site for Team Pedal Moraine. Please contact Brittany at Brittany@BrittanyNigh.com if you'd like to stay on our site.
Don't forget to bring your money for the raffle. All the proceeds will go to G.E.A.R.S. (Glacial Edge Area Riding Society), a volunteer group who maintain the trails at Greenbush, New Fane and Glacial Blue in West Bend. These funds will help us get a bike wash established at Greenbush along with some other great features down the road. We've got some great raffle prizes this year.
Hope to see you Saturday!

WEMS race registration forms are ON-LINE
I've gotten a few e-mails from people wondering how much the endurance races are. Our WEMS web page is now updated along with both series registration sheets and event registration sheets, so please feel free to visit this web page for more details.
http://www.wemseries.com/
We'll be making the decision shortly, but it looks like the 12 hours of Northern Kettles WILL be switching to a mileage based race, 3 hour would now be 30 miles, 6 hour would be 60 miles, 12 hour would be 100 miles. Stay tuned for updates!
As always, e-mail me with any questions. http://www.brittanynigh.com/
Thanks!

Friday Night
Friday night we will have registration open from 6-8pm, then will head out to do a night lap (or two) after that. Please feel free to join us at the shelter if you'd like to participate in this night ride.
Team Pedal Moraine has ONE group camp site reserved for Friday & Saturday night, and we've had a number of people ask about camping. We're happy to offer some space on our site to whomever will fit. . . . but you'll need to park your cars in the parking lot as there won't be a ton of extra space.
When you check in Friday, find Bill or myself and we'll get you hooked up.
See you at Greenbush!
